From May 27 to June 2, 2024, Mérida will revive its Roman past with gladiator fights, legionary marches, Roman markets, historical reenactments…

For a few days, the city will travel back to the 1st century A.D. and recreate the life of the Roman era in its streets and monuments. Shows are carried out in the amphitheater and the Roman theater, fashion parades with dresses of the era are held, a Roman market is set up, and gladiators return to the city. In addition, the so-called Roman White Night is celebrated, allowing visitors to explore the main monuments until the early hours of the morning.
